Another great summer is in the books! I don’t know where it went, but there are photos to prove it happened. It started with Griffin declaring his citizenship in our great United States through the addition of his driving permit, enter new stress level for Amy and me. Faith had a great time as an overnight camper at T bar M this year and she really has shown she’s all grown up going to overnight camp. Griffin was part of the worship team at Camp Tejas with our church at their middle school camp, and then we both returned as camper and counselor for High School Camp. Yes, I apparently am a glutton for punishment as I returned again this year. The whole family then embarked on a nearly 10 day road trip as our John Mayer groupie family saw him in Houston and then Red Rocks, CO 5 days later. Amy and I got a little time away with another couple in Fredericksburg. We had an absolutely amazing and relaxing time. I must also strongly recommend George’s 290 Wine Tours. We finished off the summer with old friends and all our kids at Lake LBJ for a great summer wrap up getaway. Underlying theme for the summer….family and friends are what it is all about. Nurturing old relationships, forging new relationships and sharing joy and love with others…this is life!
